Course Description

Recommended Prior Learning

Agricultural interest, working with animals, practical, being able to work outdoors.
Students MUST be motivated to complete the requirements and be of a mature nature to take on responsibilities of working on a farm.
Selection panel interview


This programme gives students the opportunity to begin their tertiary education in agriculture while still at school. Students will be out one day per week on a farm with a tutor. From Term 2, students might be out two days on a farm, (one farming, one work experience).
Students must be self-motivated to catch up on work missed while off campus.
Students are selected from an interview panel.
