Science is the systematic way that humans use try to make sense and understand the world around us. Scientists begin by observing and recording in an accurate way to gain that understanding. They also conduct experiments to enhance that understanding and to turn that knowledge into useful ideas and products.
Our teachers believe it is essential that all students receive a solid grounding in current scientific understandings, values and skills for them to function in our modern world that is increasingly shaped by the application of Science to nearly every aspect of daily life.
At Years 11-13 we offer courses in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Earth and Space Science. Horticultural Science is offered as part of the Innovative Horticulture Programme.
