Course Description

Should have finished year 10 with at least curriculum level 5 in most assessments.




This is an ideal course for students who want a breadth to their Science understanding. It contains units on all the major disciplines in Science. For a more specialised in-depth course consider taking Chemistry/Biology and Physics/Space science.

The course carries on to Year 12 into the three specialist sciences of Chemistry, Physics, and Biology as long as they have met these course prerequisites.

This course contains 12 Numeracy credits and 4 Literacy credits for level 1 NCEA.
