Course Description

This is an ideal course for students who want to further extend their scientific knowledge and skills in Physics. Physics is an essential prerequisite for entry into most University level engineering courses as well as for all types of Physics degrees.
Physics at this level demands very good skills in mathematics.
Semester B will provide a core study of Mechanics through an External Standard followed by EITHER the opportunity to study a Physics socio scientific issue (Internal Standard) OR Electrical Systems(External Standard), which one, individual students are free to choose.
If you are intending for this to be a University approved subject, you must take both Semester A and B of this course.
Recommended Prior Learning
12 credits from external standards in Year 12 Physics and a minimum of 12 credits in Mathematics at Level 2, including Algebra.
