Level 2 Space, Stars and Planets - Semester B

This course is based on the types, characteristics and life cycles of stars and the formation of planetary systems.It includes a research investigation into how technological modifications enable humans to survive in the extreme conditions of outer space. Students also examine the viewpoints behind a current Space Science issue and the validity of the information communicated to the public.

At least 8 Level 1 Science credits. Or at the discretion of the Head of Science.
Total Credits Available: 12 credits.
Externally Assessed Credits: 4 credits.
Internally Assessed Credits: 8 credits.
