Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs A. Koria
Students can understand and construct simple texts using their knowledge of the target language. Students can describe aspects of their own background and immediate environment. Students will use cultural knowledge to communicate appropriately. They will also recognise and describe ways in which Māori culture is organised and be able to compare and contrast cultural practices. It is recommended that students also select Level 1 Te Reo Māori - Semester B.
Recommended Prior Learning
Te Reo Māori in Year 9 and Year 10 or at the discretion of the Kaiako.
