Level 1 Physics and Space science

11PHS
Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr M. Kindley

Recommended Prior Learning

Should have finished year 10 with at least curriculum level 5 in most assessments.

Physics the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, forces and energy, electricity, magnetism and waves. Physics involves the application of maths to explain physical phenomena. Earth and Space Science looks at the forces that shape our planet and an astronomical event.

It has 8 Numeracy and 8 Literacy credits.
