Course Description

Classical Studies is an Ancient History course [Greece and Rome] for those students who want to extend their cultural education and provides an introductory background to many areas of Tertiary Study.
The two Internal Achievement Standards offered are:
1.AS91202 -Resource Title ”The Big Bang” A Study Of The Buried Cities Of Pompeii and Herculaneum.
2.AS91204 -Resource Title “Epic Poem Versus Epic Film” A Study Of Homer’s Writing and Modern Media about Troy and/or The Odyssey.
