Teacher in Charge: Ms G. Bundle
This programme gives students the opportunity to begin their tertiary education in agriculture while still at school. Students will be out one day per week on a farm with a tutor. From Term two, students might be out for two days on a farm, (one Farming, one work experience).
Students must be self-motivated to catch up on work missed while off campus.
Taratahi live in experience available for those 16+ around October. - Four days at the Masterton Campus during a school break.
This is a FULL YEAR course. Students must take Semester A and B
Wet weather gear, steel cap boots.
Agricultural interest, working with animals, practical, being able to work outdoors.
Students MUST be motivated to complete the requirements and be of a mature nature to take on responsibilities of working on a farm.
Selection panel interview and taster day. Ten places available.
