This semester our focus is on exploring the world of Physical Theatre. Working in small groups, we will learn how to devise Children’s Theatre for a specific audience with the intention of informing through entertainment. These will be performed in front of a live audience. We will develop our movement skills through dance ensemble and Musical Theatre. We will watch at least ONE professional live performance that may be used for the Drama External Examination in November. This subject requires full participation from all students throughout the semester.

Due to the group nature of all of the internal standards in this course, students who have a poor attendance record or choose to take a subject that requires major learning off campus may find it difficult to complete all group performance assessments.
