Physics the branch of science concerned with the nature and properties of matter and energy. The subject matter of physics includes mechanics, heat, light and other radiation, sound, electricity, magnetism, and the structure of atoms. Physics often involves the application of maths to explain physical phenomena.

This course will study mechanics the science of forces, motion and energy, an electricity practical Internal assessment and a research project on a physics application. The course has 10 credits and can only be done for one semester, It has 2 Literacy and 8 Numeracy credits.

Physics is important for careers in Engineering - (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Optician, Radiographer, Computing, Alternative energy, Astronomy, Rocket scientist. Meteorology, Architect.

Only pick for one semester.
