All students are expected to provide their own materials for their sewing projects.
Term 1
Investigate the Pin'd Creative Showcase sections to choose which one to enter.
Develop your knowledge of different techniques and processes used to make clothes.
Learn how to take accurate body measurements and use them to alter a pattern.
Make a garment to enter in the Pin'd Creative Showcase
Term 2
Finish making your garment for the Pin'd Creative Showcase.
Complete assessment tasks.
Level 1 Fabric Technology - Semester B, Level 2 Fabric Technology Semester A
Contributions and Equipment/StationeryCost: $15 entry fee to the Pin'd Creative Showcase competition.
Students have to organise and/or buy their own fabric and other components to make their own garments.
A4 clearfile and/or BYOD to store assessment evidence.
Achievement in Year 10 Fabric Technology and/or a keen interest in sewing and willingness to enter a competition. TiC approval.
