1MATHB Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mrs R. Astwood
This course is mainly algebra and is aimed at the Excellence level. It is made up of two external achievement standards. It leads on to Mathematics or Statistics in Year 12 and Calculus or Statistics in Year 13.
It requires extended abstract thinking, good algebra skills and the ability to solve problems.
This course is a pre-requisite for Level 2 Mathematics and Statistics.
