Yr 10 and/or Yr 9 Art, or with other relevant experience, with HOF of Arts approval. If you are keen to try new things, you will be able to achieve.
Visual Art is a year long programme that has 15 credits on offer. Students will explore traditional and contemporary art making conventions such as printmaking, woodcuts, etching, sketching, painting, photography, colour theory and toi Maori. Students will be able to choose which medium they use for their final peice which will be part of a larger Art exhibition. Students will also be required to create a sustained body of related artworks which is a single folio board. As part of student learning they will be required to go on at least two Art trips.
Two internal assessments and one external assessment.

Contributions and Equipment/StationeryArt Pack prices to be confirmed, Course fee $45.00. Students will need to pay for their own printing costs, and will need a pen drive or external storage device for their digital work.
