Level 3 Fabric Technology

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms R. Cameron.

Students will learn how to draft (create) a sewing pattern from their own measurements and advanced construction (sewing) skills. Student will make a pair of pants or a skirt and a jacket. 

Students are expected to get their own fabrics for their projects or use what is available in class (recycled or leftover fabric).                         



Recommended Prior Learning

Some credits at Level 2 in Materials Technology Fabric and a keen interest in sewing and clothing design with basic sewing skills. Or with HOF approval.

Contributions and Equipment/Stationery

$15 entry fee to the Pin'd Creative Showcase competition is optional
Students need to organise and/or buy their own fabric, etc for their sewing projects

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.

This course is approved for University Entrance.
