Although 2021 timetables are yet to be finalised, course selection is now finished. Any changes to student courses will now take place in January 2020.

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs H. Johnson

What you learn in this course is entirely up to you. There are topics in environmental sustainability, plant production, new uses for old organisms, environmental studies, market research, business structure and cash flow forecasting. An electronics and coding option will be available to students with sufficient prior knowledge. There is only one externally assessed standard in this semester and it is optional. This is an Achievement Standard course which can ultimately take you to tertiary study and a career in primary industries.

Students will choose, in consultation with the Innovative Horticulture Manager, how many standards their individual pathway is made up of based on ability and needs. Typically you will select 12 credits in total.
