Course Description

Year 11 History is an introductory level course aimed at providing students with an understanding of modern world history.
How does the voice of protest through the arts influence our understanding of the world around us? Music, film and art have a part to play in telling us the story of our past.
Students can choose 19th and 20th century contexts in New Zealand and around the world in this course.
They will learn transferable writing, research, communication, analytical, interpersonal and thinking skills.
