Biology is the study of life from the smallest cell to massive ecosystems. What could be more interesting than learning about what makes living things including ourselves work? There are over 25 branches of Biology including Anatomy, Botany, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Ecology, Evolution, Genetics, Marine Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Zoology.
This course will study genetics, and two practical Internal biology investigations. The course has 12 credits and can only be done for one semester, It has 4 Literacy and 4 Numeracy credits.
Biology is important for careers in Biotechnology, Horticulture, Marine biologist, Conservation, Ecologist, Environmentalists, Medicine, Veterinary, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Sports.

Average Grade At the Standard or above in Year 10 with a minimum Grade At the Standard in exam Understanding.
Pathway
If you want to do level 2 Biology you must do level 1 Biology first.
