Year 11 Mathematics Plus

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mrs R. Astwood.

This course with cover all the strands of Mathematics and Statistics over the course of the year. The course has a high level of Algebra and leads to Year 12 Mathematics. The course will be at faster pace and go into more depth of each of the topics compared to 11MATH.

There will be two internal assessments and one external, total 15 credits. The external is a 3-hour exam at the end of the year covering Number, Geometry and Algebra.

Recommended Prior Learning

Year 10 Mathematics and Statistics at Curriculum Level 5 or above.
